My work is influenced a lot by my living environment, most of them start from the cognition of something, such as how to perceive dust, identity, a certain place, and a photo in a phone, and many of them are an exploration of mundane objects. These works are stories about everyday objects. In the beginning, these stories were about the interpretation of an object, but now there are some new stories, and they are the process of my observation of an object itself. In these works, I no longer wonder how to explain the everyday objects themselves, but how the way to perceive the mundane objects relates to the objects themselves.

I mainly use installation and drawing to express my idea. In my previous attempts, I often combine an entity of daily objects with my drawing to interpret some mundane objects and made advantage of these objects to support the narrative. But in the process of interpreting them, I found I was more interested in the cognition itself, and I began to show the process of observing and recognizing an object itself and try to interact with the audience so that I'm not alone in observing something. In terms of the form of expression, I also try to weaken the elements related to the object itself, give up the narrative function brought by the relevant object, and let the audience feel the "process" I show.

I want to show this process because it feels like there's a fixed set of rules about how we perceive, how we view something, like what’s its name, its size, its function, whether it's old or new, etc. What I want to do is to create a new connection, a new relationship between us and objects, and it let me feel the wonder of the world, and I hope my audience can feel that too.
